Whether you’ve attended many virtual conferences before or this is your first one, you might have some questions about how it works. Here are your answers.
Who should participate?
Learning • Technology • DesignTM (LTD for short) is designed specifically for those who work in the business of lifelong learning, continuing education, and professional development. The content is geared to individuals at an intermediate to advanced level of knowledge when it comes to leading and working in a market-facing learning business.
Where does LTD 2020 take place?
LTD 2020 takes place entirely online. Travel is not required for you to participate. All sessions will be accessed via the Internet, using Zoom.
How long has LTD existed?
LTD is now in its fifth year. Started as a face-to-face event in 2016, it moved entirely online in 2017. You can review some of the past sessions and session leaders here.
I’m not available for all or part of February 25 and 27. Can I still participate in LTD 2020?
Yes! While we encourage you to participate live if you can (as that will provide additional opportunities for asking questions and getting to know other attendees through in-session chat), all sessions will be recorded, and we’ll make the recordings available as quickly as possible, usually within 24-48 hours.
What are the registration options?
Will I receive written confirmation of my registration?
Yes, registrants receive an e-mail confirmation shortly after registration. To ensure you receive e-mails about LTD, please make sure that leadinglearning.com is added to your address book, safe sender list, or whitelist.
If I purchase registration for my organization, how do my colleagues get access?
After you purchase an organizational registration, you’ll be directed to a page with instructions for providing information about your colleagues who will attend LTD. Please contact us if you purchased an organizational registration and for some reason are not sent to the page with instructions for identifying your other attendees.
Is this conference eligible for CAE credit?
The live LTD 2020 sessions will be available for CAE credit. By attending all live sessions possible, you may earn up to 10.5 CAE credits. CAE credit is not available for the recorded sessions.
